Swedish ministers visiting MAX IV

During October, MAX IV had visits from both the Minister for Energy and Digital Development, Anders Ygeman and the Minister for Business, Industry and Innovation, Ibrahim Baylan.

“It’s a pleasure and an honour to host these visits”, says Director IanMcNulty “because they give us the opportunity to show how MAX IV can contribute to solving global challenges such as curing disease, using energy wisely, and improving our environment, and to show how MAX IV can help Swedish companies develop new technologies and products.”

MAX IV

MAX IV Laboratory is a Swedish national laboratory providing scientists with the most brilliant X-rays for research. With more than 30 years of experience operating the MAX I-III facilities it is now commissioning MAX IV, which was inaugurated 21 June 2016.
