Both Swedish and Danish patients with certain types of involuntary infertility can now receive specialized treatment in Malmö and Copenhagen.

Both Swedish and Danish patients with certain types of involuntary infertility can now receive specialized treatment in Malmö and Copenhagen.

Region H and Region Skåne has reached an agreement regarding the Patient Mobility Agreement. The agreement enables patients from both Sweden and Denmark to receive medical treatment within a field of expertise that is not available in their home country. 

This positive story, which was facilitated by the MVA-based ReproUnion management Unit, made the news this week, as you can see in the news pieces in Danish TV2 Lorry with prof. Jens Sønksen, Herlev og Gentofte Hospital and in Swedish SVT with prof. Aleksander Giwercman, Skåne University Hospital Malmö.
