The Science Colloquium will place at the European Spallation Source ERIC in conference room Saturn. Coffee will be served.
Associate Professor Martin Bech from Lund University will present on bioimaging with synchrotron radiation and its enhanced sensitivity and resolution, which enables us to look into the detailed microstructures of biological samples. This method helps us understand health and disease at a fundamental level, providing information on e.g. the neural tissue in diabetic patients and the role of lungblood vessels in cardiovascular diseases.
