Cobra Biologics has been recognised with the International Trade Award at the Staffordshire Business Awards 2017.
Presented last night at an awards ceremony at the Staffordshire County Showground, the awards are organised by the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce to showcase the achievements, success stories and outstanding performance of Staffordshire’s best businesses.
From hundreds of entries, a Steering Committee selected three finalists from each of the 13 award categories; Cobra was shortlisted for both the International Trade Award, sponsored by the Department for International Trade (DIT, formerly UKTI), and Business of the Year, sponsored by HSBC.
The International Trade Award recognises companies who excel in the exportation of a product or service to an international market including identification of the opportunity, product or service development, international partnerships, overseas sales and marketing and the overall benefit this brings to Staffordshire. The team at Cobra is delighted to have won such a prestigious accolade.
Peter Coleman, CEO Cobra Biologics, commented: “I am incredibly proud of what Cobra has achieved; exporting 98% of our manufacturing services and helping to develop and manufacture drugs for the benefit of patients around the world.”
