Centre for Digital Life Norway (DLN) is a national center for biotechnology training, research and innovation.DNL is a response to the strategic initiative “Digital Life – convergence for innovation” funded by the Norwegian Research Council (NRC). DLN is a virtual center, currently involving twelve major research projects, and managed by a joint leadership network from NTNU, UiB and UiO.
NTNU is also well represented in several of the other research projects within DLN.
NTNU leads the national Centre for Digital Life Research School where Per Bruheim – Department of Biotechnology and Food Science and Heidrun Åm – Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture serves on the research school board.
NTNU is represented in the DLN board by Tor Grande – Vice Dean for Research at the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
